About the PDF to HTML

Putting a PDF online usually means a download link that visitors have to open separately, and the content is hard to read on a phone. Converting it to HTML gives you a web page instead. This tool turns the text of each page into headings, paragraphs and tables with inline styling, in a single standalone .html file you can open, edit or publish.

What you can do

  • Convert a PDF into one self-contained .html file with the CSS written inline.
  • Turn larger text into proper heading tags and group lines into paragraphs.
  • Rebuild tables as HTML tables, keeping cell shading and borders.
  • Keep text colours, bold, italic and underline.
  • Use OCR to convert scanned documents.
  • Download a file named after the PDF that opens in any browser without extra assets.

When it works best

  • Publishing a policy, menu or guide as a web page instead of a download.
  • Pasting document content into a CMS or email template.
  • Making a document easier to read on phones, where text wraps to the screen.
  • Extracting structured text and tables to feed a website or knowledge base.

Things to know

  • Images are not included in the HTML; add them separately if you need them.
  • The output follows the content, not the exact page layout, so multi-column designs become a single column.
  • Review the markup before publishing, especially headings, since levels are guessed from font size.
  • The source PDF can be up to 25 MB. The generated web page is not published anywhere; it waits privately on the server for your download and is deleted within about 30 minutes.
